• Marisa Kanter's previously published three YA novels with great reviews from readers, Kirkus, and Booklist -- this is an adult book and a whole different thing so don't base your buy on that track.
• The book is fun and lighthearted, but also offers some really nuanced chronic illness representation -- Evie has chronic Crohn's disease, which is part of the reason she is so desperate for insurance.
